Terrible purchase

I purchased this product on LG online. The package arrived with dents and cuts and had oil-like stains coming through the package. Inside the package the unit had numerous dents and scrapes and was leaking coolant. I immediately submitted a return receipt on August 12 with photo documentation. The customer service agent indicated I should receive info on how to return the product and get a refund within 3 days. After three days I called again and the agent indicated my return request was not submitted properly and they would submit it again. After another 3 days I called again and the agent wasnt sure why I hadnt received the return info and the agent escalated the issue and said I should receive the information in 24-48 hours. I still didnt receive any information. Ive called several times since and the last call 9/22 they indicated I would receive the return information in 24 hours. Still havent received it. This is ridiculous. Its now almost 6 weeks since I received a busted product from LG and they still wont pick up their junk or issue a refund. Their customer service line is clearly located outside of the US and they refuse to connect me with supervisors. DO NOT BUY FROM LG

Good machine until its not

Good a/c. Looks nice in my home and works great. Until it quits cooling after having it only 13 months. I used my extended warranty for repair but after one month of run around I still have no a/c. The tech deemed it unrepairable leaking Freon promptly but LG doesnt replace it. They say its been approved but keep saying wait 7-10 business days for your replacement . I must be your most disappointed customer alive. Over 70 years old post-surgery and in 100 degree heat.

We used AC three times. It completely died. Tech said non repairable. LG said different wants tech to order compressor. Tech did not show up as schedule on 6/12 abd did not call. Same Tech Rubien Thomas scheduled to come 7/2. Never showed up or called. I have lostt wages for taking off for him to fix it. I keep getting the run around. We want our money back. $656.00. It has been almostv30 days. My mom is 88 and has breathing issues. No one at LG seems to care.

i bought this lg a few weeks ago bc my old frigidaire only lasted one year and 6 months and custumer service was no help i gave it a 4 star bc is lacking a bit of btus my old unit was 25500 and cooled a little better ... im not putting the lg down but maybe they could make a bigger unit for some old homes
