I really like this dryer. However, I am still getting used to the settings. This is the first time I have had electronic settings instead of dials. I used the steam sCetting to get wrinkles out of a tablecloth and I could not have been more pleased. I did not have to iron the tablecloth. Like everything there is a learning curve. Overall, I am very happy.

Our Whirlpool washer died in September and it was only 28 months old. The repair estimate was $1053 and since we were 4 months past the warranty we would have had to pay for repairs out of pocket. We decided instead to upgrade to Speed Queen and purchased a new set (husband prefers matching sets). VERY happy with this dryer. Dries quickly and efficiently without ruining the clothes. I don't use dryer sheets, only wool balls.

Went from having Electrolux to having Speed Queen. Still getting used to the settings. This would get 5 stars, but if I don't get my laundry out of the dryer as soon as it's done it gets wrinkled even if I run it on the steam setting to fluff it for a bit, especially the whites.

This washing machine is extremely well built and love the multiple wash cycle settings. When it is in spin mode the washer does not migrate across the floor at all. Heavy machine and great design build. I would absolutely recommend this washer to anyone who wants long lasting durability, excellent cleaning, and good value that will pay for itself over time. Buy this machine if you don't want to purchase another lesser machine in 5-10 years.

This dryer heats immediately. My clothes dry faster than any other dryer I've had, so less time is required. The heat seems warmer, so I dry most clothes on low heat. The dryer is much more expensive than others, but it is estimated by the company to last 25 years.

We are 3 houses into our marriage and for some reason I really never heard of Speed Queen. We have had Kenmore, GE, LG, and Samsung - some we left in the house we sold when we moved to the next place (active duty Military) while others broke 5-8 years in. So, I'm at a place in life where I went into this washer dryer purchase putting reliability, performance and durability above all other factors. I just started researching "the best" compassion videos, testimonials, went to showrooms, etc. everything led to soled queen. Why didn't I ever hear of them!? I mean, even if you don't want to sell at a big box store… you can still run a commercial can't you Speed Queen?? Anyway, I'm blown away. Clean isn't even the word. I washed things that my previous washer had an opportunity to clean and it failed too. I'm pulling things out of here that look new! I love them. Specifically, the dryer dries. I washed and dried 22 king size pillows (2 at a time) and about 14 sets of sheets the week I got these babies. They did not disappoint. I put the setting on "dry" bs "near dry" and my stuff comes out DRY. ITS ALSO FAST, quiet, and big.

The drive is one of the best I have used in years. It has a ton of settings but they are very handy once you get used to them and the capacity is as good as they come right now. Very well made and quiet operating also very pleased at this point and drying times are a good 20% less then others.
